West African examination Council, WAEC Sanctions a Total Number Of 60 Schools; 56 Private Schools and 4 Public Schools In Lagos Over Exam Malpractice

Nigeria Examinations Committee(NEC), of the West African examination Council (WAEC) at its 61st meeting sanctioned candidates and schools involved in examination malpractice.

It was gathered that a total number of 60 schools; 56 private schools and 4 public schools were Indicted.

Dr.Oluranti Adebule, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State cried out that the actions of the schools were in sharp contrast to the huge fund budgeted for SSCE annually.

She equally stated that black books will be re-introduced in public schools in order to ensure discipline and integrity.
