University Of Lagos,UNILAG to Honour Adeboye, Danjuma ,Onosode
New reaching us today says University of Lagos, UNILAG will confer honorary degrees on Lt. General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (rtd), Deacon Gamaliel Oforitsenere Onosode and Pastor Enoch Adeboye, tomorrow, for their immense contributions to humanity.
Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos,
Professor Rahamon Bello who disclosed
this, yesterday, explained that the choice of
the elder statesmen was due to their
immense contributions to education and
quality of life in Nigeria.
‘’The eminent Nigerians will be conferred
with honorary degrees of the University of
Lagos for their noticeable and immense
contribution to education and quality of life
in Nigeria.”
Meanwhile, UNILAG in its first phase of
graduating ceremony has churned out a
total of 3,104 graduates, yesterday, leaving
7,496 graduands for today and tomorrow.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Rahamon
Bello while speaking during the convocation
said that the 2013/2014 convocation
ceremony will span three days.
