University Of Ibadan Produces 26 First Class Graduates At The Law School
University of Ibadan once again has shown that she is truly first and the best university in Nigeria by producing 26 first class graduates at the Law School Bar Final Examinations for 2019.
Below is the breakdown of the result of August 2019 Bar Final Examinations:
A total number of five thousand, six hundred and eighty nine (5,689) students sat for the exam.
Hundred and fourty seven (147) students made first class.
Seven hundred and fourty one (741) made second class upper.
Two thousand, two hundred and fourty six (2,246) made second class lower divisions.
One thousand, two hundred and ninety one(1,291) made ordinary pass.
Three hundred and nineteen(319) made conditional pass.
Eight hundred and ninety four (894) failed the exam.
Another fourty one (41) students missed the exam while ten(10) students’ result were withheld.
However, it must be noted that out of these 26 first class graduates at the law school, only six made first class in UI.
The University of Ibadan Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olayinka, in his Facebook post of November 6, attributed the unprecedented success to UI rigorous and transparent admission processes coupled with excellent teaching facilities.
