UNIPORT Approved The Appointment Of New Vice Chancellor
The Governing Council of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), at the 155th meeting held on Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 approved the appointment of a new vice chancellor for the institution.
The new Vice-Chancellor is Professor Ndowa Lale, a native of Eleme in Rivers State.
Prof. Lale of the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences emerged the new VC after a rigorous interview process that involved ten candidates running for the seat.
The announcement was made by the Chairman of the governing council, Mr. Gesi Asamaowei.
