UI Issues Warning To Students That Has Matriculated [Double Admissions]
University of Ibadan, UI Issues Warning To Students That Has Matriculated [Double Admissions]
The management of the University of Ibadan, UI, wishes to inform all newly admitted students that the regulations of the University and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, strictly prohibit a candidate who has been admitted to and matriculated for a course of study to accept another offer of admission while the first course is subsisting.
It is mandatory that such a candidate completes the first course before accepting another admission offer to study another course.
The implication of this regulation is that a candidate cannot matriculate twice and obtain more than one matriculation number.
Students should, therefore, note that the violation of the above stated regulations is considered a GROSS MISCONDUCT, which carries a stiff penalty of summary expulsion.
They are also advised to obtain a copy of the Student Information Handbook for more information on Matriculation offences.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
