See Reason Many JAMB Candidates Failed Computer Based Test, CBT 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.
The reason why many candidates failed the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has been stated by Mr Shodunke Oludotun, the president of Association of Tutorial School Operators as resulting from the fact that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) used the wrong software to mark the exam.
According to him, JAMB used the software for 2015 exam to grade the students in 2016. Mr Shodunke who equally called for the resignation of the JAMB Boss, Professor Dibu Ojerinde stated that there is evidence that virtually all the results of candidates they have collected bear 2015/2016 and not 2016/2017 which it was suppose to be.
