Pharmacy Council of Nigeria, PCN Inducts 78 Pharmacists At OOU
The Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) inducted a total of 78 Pharmacy graduates from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye last week.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof Mbang Oyewo congratulated the graduating student and advised them to be humble and adhere to the ethics of the profession.
During the event, which was held at the Sagamu campus of the institution, Halimah Badmus was announced as the best graduating student, having graduated with highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
Halimah, who graduated as the best student in pharmaceutics and pharmacy technology, was presented with a plaque and N50,000 cheque.
Others, who had the best results in their departments, were also honoured. They are Oyinlade Odujoko (Pharmacognosy), Yewande Adebanjo (Clinical Pharmacy and Biopharmacy) and Latifat Edalere (Pharmaceutical Microbiology).
