Ogun State Teaching Service Caution Teachers To Sustain Academic Excellence

The Ogun Teaching Service Commission on
Wednesday urged teachers in public
secondary schools to further improve on
their skills, to sustain the academic
performance of pupils across the State.

Mr Timothy Adebowale, Full-Time
Commissioner 1, Ogun Teaching Service
Commission, spoke in Abeokuta while
monitoring activities of teachers in some
schools.

Adebowale said he discovered in some
schools that teachers had formed the habit
of teaching pupils without lesson notes,
which should serve as guidelines.

The commissioner stressed the need for
teachers to make use of structural materials
provided by the government in teaching the
pupils.

He enjoined teachers to be punctual in
school, keep statutory records and discharge their duties as expected.

The commissioner said that the Commission would continue to monitor the activities of the teachers to achieve the best for the sector. (NAN)
