NSUK On-Campus Accommodation Now Compulsory for Female Students
The Governor of Nasarawa State, Umaru
Tanko Al-Makura, has disclosed that on-
campus accommodation would be
compulsory for all female Students of
Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK),
once the hostels under construction are
completed.
Al-Makura, who made this known during an
inspection of three block of 42 rooms hostel
apartment under construction at the
university’s Keffi campus on Thursday,
expressed dismay at the manner female
students are made to traverse the highway
as they try to keep up with the routine of
travels from their off-campus lodges to
lecture halls.
The governor also disclosed that the state’s
government would, in the next few months,
complete the construction of all hostel
structures that are currently under
construction to ensure that all the students
are accommodated.
