NOUN Graduates seeks National Assembly assistance For Admission Into Nigeria Law School

The Law graduates of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) have appealed to the National Assembly for legislation to ensure their admission into the Nigerian Law School (NLS).

In a speech by the newly inaugurated President of the NOUN Law Alumni Association, Lawal Olutoyin, appealed to relevant authorities such as the Council of Legal Education (CLE), the Federal Ministry of Education and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to “kindly put up the modus operandi which would direct the process if admitting graduates of law from the National Open University to the Nigerian Law School.”

Olutoyin said the executive will work with the Law Students Association of National Open University of Nigeria (LAWSAN) and the NOUN Alumni Association (NOUNAA) in achieving the “basic aims and objectives of the university.”

The alumni body said it would continue its campaign for acceptance of the challenges of modern day technology and it’s bearing on the nation’s education system.
