Mountain Top University (MTU) Global Ventures Recruitment Qualifications

The qualifications for each of the positions are as follows:

1. Manager

A good first degree (not below Second Class Lower Division) from a recognized University or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology with minimum of Lower Credit plus at least nine (9) years post-qualification experience in the running of a Venture.

2. Operations Supervisor

A good National Diploma (ND) from a recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology with minimum of Lower Credit with proven relevant post-qualification experience in the running of a Venture.

  3.  Technical Operator (Sachet and Bottle Water Factory)

A good first degree (not below Second Class Lower Division) from a recognized University or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology with minimum of Lower Credit plus at least seven (7) years post-qualification experience in similar position.

4. Assistant Technical Operator (Sachet and Bottle Water Factory)

National Diploma from a recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology with minimum of Lower Credit with proven relevant post-qualification experience in Sachet and Bottle Water Factory.

5. Production Assistant/Machine Operator

Candidates must have mechanical & technical background.  He must be able to set up, operate and maintain machineries.  Proven experience in sachet and bottle water factory is required.  A minimum of two (2) years working experience plus WAEC/SSCE or equivalent certificate is equally required.

6. Higher Executive Officer (Accounts)

Candidate applying for the position must possess a good Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy or Financial Studies from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit.  Evidence of Computer literacy is mandatory.

7. Executive Officer (Accounts)

Candidate applying for the position must possess a good National Diploma (ND) in Accountancy or Financial Studies from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit.  Evidence of Computer literacy is mandatory.

8. Clerical Officer – Accounts

Candidates for the post of a Clerical Officer – Accounts shall possess the following criteria:

Five (5) O/Level Credit passes in SSCE/WASSCE/GCE/NECO including English and Mathematics, Account and Commerce.  He/She must have accounting background and must be in the age bracket of 25-35 years.  Evidence of Computer literacy is mandatory.

9. Sales and Marketing Officer (Salary: Stipend with a very good commission on sales)

Candidates for the post of Sales and Marketing Officer must possess at least OND in any relevant course.  He must have previous marketing experience, be able to drive very well, possess valid driver’s license, excellent communication skills.  He must have thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques, be very smart and have the ability to work without supervision in meeting sales target.  He must be self-motivated with a results-driven approach and not above 45 years old. In addition, candidates must be computer literate.

Duties:

1. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities for the company’s products (bread, water) and evaluate customer needs.
2. Actively seek out new sales opportunities, negotiate/close deals.
3. Manage sale of the company’s products and services in defined geographical areas.
4. Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
5. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
6. Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.

10. Sales/Marketing Assistant (Salary: Stipend with a very good commission on sales)

Candidates for the post of Sales/Marketing Assistant must possess minimum qualification of WAEC/SSCE or equivalent certificate with three (3) years’ experience in sales/marketing.  He must have previous marketing experience, be able to drive very well, possess valid driver’s license, good communication skills.  He must be smart, results-driven and not above 35 years old. In addition, candidates must be computer literate.

11. Blowing Machine Operator

Candidate applying for the position must possess WASC/SSCE/GCE/NECO plus years of relevant working experience as a Blowing Machine Operator in a water/beverages manufacturing company.
