Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Expels Five(5) Students, Rusticates 1. The management of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has approved the expulsion of five students for their involvement in various offences.
According to a statement signed by the Assistant Registrar (Academic Affairs), Mr. AbdulRahman Ola Muhammad, the decision to expel the students was taken following the report of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee that tried them.
The affected students are Imam Murthado Olanrewaju with matriculation number HND/14/AE/FT/019 for assault on a staff and disruption of official activities, Elebiju Rotimi with matriculation number HND/14/SLT/FT/095 for theft of cloth and hacking of the owner, as well as Adam AbdulAzeez T. with matriculation number ND/14/QTS/FT/022, Muhammed Habeeb O. with matriculation number ND/14/COM/FT/461 and Khalid Olamilekan R. with matriculation number ND/14/PA/FT/56 for destruction of polytechnic property.
The institution also approved the rustication of Olutayo Oluwatobi Elizabeth with matriculation number HND/15/BF/FT/233 for one semester (2nd semester 2015/2016 session) for her unruly behavior against a member of Dress Code Committee while the result of Toluwaleke Gbenga Adeniyi with matriculation number ND/14/PA/FT/532 is to be withheld pending his appearance before the students Disciplinary Committee for case of destruction of polytechnic property.
