Kebbi State Employs 4,300 New Teachers To Improve Slandered Of Education

The Kebbi State Government has called on
its 4,300 newly-recruited teachers to ensure
that they were committed and determined
to improve the standard of education in the
state.

The Commissioner of Education, Alhaji Sani
Aliyu, who made the call on Wednesday,
said that the new teachers would be posted
to Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) located in
the rural areas and were expected them to
add value to the state’s school system.

Aliyu said arrangements had been made on
the deployment of the new teachers, adding
that “we have provided modern teaching
and learning equipment in the schools, to
enhance improvement in standards”.

He said the outgoing administration had
increased the number of primary and
secondary schools, while laboratory
equipment and reagents had also been
provided.

The commissioner said government would
continue to improve the state’s education
sector, especially the Girl- Child education.
