This is to inform all the undergraduate students of the Imo State University (IMSU) that the authorities of the institution have released the academic calendar for the second semester, 2024/2025 academic session.

IMSU Academic Calendar
November 2024
- Friday, 8th: Old students return to campus and secure accommodation.
- Monday, 11th: Registration and lectures begin for old students.
- Friday, 15th: New students arrive and secure accommodation, while registration for old students closes.
- Monday, 18th: Registration starts for new students.
- Wednesday, 20th: Registration ends for new students.
- Thursday, 21st: Lectures begin for new students.
- Monday, 25th: Second Semester results for 2023/2024 are submitted to departments, and results processing begins.
December 2024
- Thursday, 19th: Orientation begins for new students.
- Friday, 20th: Orientation concludes.
January 2025
- Friday, 17th: Final day to submit Second Semester 2023/2024 results to departments, with result processing ending at this level.
- Friday, 31st: Deadline for submitting Second Semester results to the Registry (Examinations), and faculties begin processing results.
February 2025
- Saturday, 8th: Matriculation ceremony takes place.
- Friday, 28th: Second Semester lectures conclude.
March 2025
- Monday, 3rd: Revision begins.
- Friday, 8th: Revision ends.
- Monday, 10th: First Semester examinations commence for all students.
- Friday, 28th: First Semester examinations conclude.
