How To Apply For Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Awards – 2019 [Undergraduate]

Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Board is now accepting applications from registered students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria for its 2019 Annual scholarships awards. The deadline for submission of application for the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Awards is 20th August, 2019.

Applications are invited from students in tertiary institutions in Nigeria for the 2019 Gani Fawehhnni Annual Scholarship Awards.

Each year, the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Board announces Scholarships For Nigerian Students in Nigeria tertiary institutions. This year’s award is for 30 students, each of whom will receive One hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N150,000) for their education.

Criteria for Award of Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship.

  • Applicants must be poor and indigent.
  • Applicants must be registered students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria i.e Universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.
  • Applicants must have good academic performance.

STUDENTS WHO HAVE ONCE WON THE SCHOLARSHIP ARE NOT ELIGIBLE

Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Award Ceremony.

  • Successful candidates will be awarded the Scholarships on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Nigerian Law Publication House, Otunba Jobi Fele – Way, C.B.D., Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos at 12.00 Noon.

Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship  Interview Schedule.

  • Port Harcourt: Applicants will be interviewed on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 at ASUU Secretariat, University of Port Harcourt (Uniport) Port Harcourt at 10am.
  • Nasarawa: Applicants will be interviewed on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 at ASUU Secretariat, Nasarawa State University, Nasarawa at 10am.
  • Lagos: Applicants will be interviewed on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 at Nigerian Law Publication House, Otunba Jobi Fele – Way, C.B.D., Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos at 10am.

How to Apply for Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship.

Interested and qualified candidates should submit an Application Letter of not more than two (2) pages. The Letter must include the name of the candidate, course and year of study, state of origin and why the candidate believes that he or she should be given the award.

The Application Letter must be accompanied by:

  • A photocopy of the candidate’s current identity Card
  • A letter from the candidate’s current head of Department, including correct information on the candidate’s CGPA for the last academic session
  • A letter from the Registrar certifying that the candidate is a student of the institution
  • A copy of the candidate’s registration form for the current semester; and
  • Two (2) current passport photographs.

The Application Letter with all the supporting documents, should be forwarded (by hand or postal delivery) to:
