Easter Break: Federal Government declared April 19, Friday, and April 22, Monday, public holidays.

The public holidays are in line with the Christian tenets which recognizes Friday, 19th April as Good Friday, and Monday, 22nd April as Easter Monday respectively.

Georgina Ehuriah, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Interior, made this announcement on behalf of the Minister of Interior Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau in Abuja to mark the Easter celebration.

He urged the Christian faithfuls in the country to use this opportunity to live in peace, love and unity. He also advised them to live a Christ like attitude and also set examples for others to follow.

He however wished them a happy Easter holiday.
