Apply Here For FUPRE Effurun Basic Studies (Pre-degree) Admission 2015/16
The Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun, invites applications from interested candidates for admission into the Basic Studies (pre-degree) programme for 2015/2016 session.
The programme is for science and engineering disciplines. The aim of the programme is to:
1. Improve prospective students’ performance in the WASC/NECO/GCE and equivalent examinations in order to enhance and to meet the admission requirements in Science and Engineering programmes.
2. Prepare candidates adequately for the UTME and Post-UTME examinations in order to enhance their admission chances to these programmes.
3. Improve the quality of candidates seeking admission to 100 level of FUPRE programmes and of other Universities.
The programme is an intensive nine (9) months teaching and coaching lessons in the following areas:
• English Language
• Mathematics
• Further Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Geography
• Technical Drawing and
• Computer study
Entry Requirement:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 credit passes including English Languages and Mathematics in not more than two (2) examination sittings.
How To Apply:
Prospective students are to obtain admission forms at the cost of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000) from Zenith Bank Plc by paying into the Account Name: FUPRE Basic Studies. Account No: 1014304766.
Application forms can be submitted by any of the following methods:
A – For online application: visit www.fupre.edu.ng and click on the Pre-Degree Application link.
B – Download and print out the application form. Complete the form and enclose the necessary documents (receipt of payment of application fee, photocopy of certificates etc) and forward to basicstudies@fupre.edu.ng
Closing Date:
Deadline for submission of application forms is Thursday, July 30, 2015.
NOTE: The school fees is Ninety Five Thousand Naira (N95,000) and is payable when admission is offered before registration is completed.
Admission to FUPRE 100 Level disciplines will be based on the average of final Basic Studies Examination and Jamb Scores.
