THE new provost, Adeniran Ogunsayan College of Education, Dr. Aina Ladele has performed the first matriculation ceremony under her regime, as over 1,200 students were admitted into various programmes of the Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE), for the 2015/2016 academic session.
Welcoming the matriculants, Dr. Ladele urged them to make good use of facilities the college afforded them by being responsible. Her words,” I admonish all the matriculants, to whom we have offered assured opportunities, to fulfil their ambitions in life. You must attend lectures, tutorials and other academic programmes at the appropriate time.
The Provost also thanked the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Abode, who is the Moderator of the College, for appointing her as the 8th provost of the College, as well as his Deputy, Dr. Idiat Oluranti who doubles as the Special Adviser on Education, for their continuous support in moving the institution forward.
