Accommodation Crisis At Federal University Otuoke As Students Been Thrown Out

According to news reaching us today, The accommodation crisis rocking the
Federal University, Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) has recently took another dimension over the weekend as hundreds of male students were thrown out of their hostel following the inability of the state government to redeem its commitment of paying their
accommodation fees.

According to source, the students who
resumed for academic activities, were
denied entry into the hostels by the
landlord who said that the state
government failed to honour the
agreement to pay him annually for the
rented apartment.

The landlord, who is represented by Stream
Solicitors, said that efforts to resolve the
debts with the government amicably failed
thus resulting to the ejection action.
According someone that visit to the said hostels showed they are already under lock and key as students laments the unfortunate incident.
