ABU Zaria Matriculated 5,000 Students Into Postgraduate Study

The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria
held the matriculation ceremony for newly
admitted postgraduate students over the
weekend.

Following the Speech at the event, Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Ibrahim Garba, said the institution was intensifying efforts toward improving delivery of various postgraduate programmes of the school.

About 5,000 students took the matriculation oath during the event.

Garba said that his administration is re-
positioning the university to regain its glory
as a centre of academic excellence has
commenced in earnest.

He added that in a bid to improve the
delivery of Postgraduate studies, regulations
governing higher degree studies have
recently been revised.
